Hire Restrictions
Driving License Endorsements
Whilst we are able to hire to customers with some endorsements on their license there are certain endorsements, which, for insurance reasons restrict our ability to supply a vehicle. We can supply to customers with up to 6 points for speeding and we can also accommodate some road traffic offences. We cannot supply to anyone with a DR, IN or BA code issued within the last five years, Also if you have a DD or CD code or any other offence code you are unsure about please contact our reservations team for clarification.
Driving Experience
All hirers must have held a full driving licence for 2 years or more. We cannot supply to anyone with a provisional licence, or someone who has held a licence for less than 2 years.
Age Restrictions
All hirers must be between 23 and 75 years of age although there are some vehicles that require a minimum age of 25.
Occupation
There are restrictions imposed by our insurers which mean that we are unfortunately unable to hire to persons in certain occupational areas. These Include professional entertainers, professional sports persons, Publicans, Night club owners, owners of gaming establishments members of foreign military and students.
Travel outside of the United Kingdom
We do offer cover for customers to take vehicles outside of Mainland Britain, however due to Insurance restrictions a minimum age of 30 is required for drivers in vehicles travelling outside this area. Please contact us for further details.
